Maddie joined Kennedy Investment Group in September 2024, bringing a strong background in administration to her new role. Although new to the financial services industry, she has quickly become an integral part of the team, providing comprehensive administrative support and contributing to solutions that enhance office efficiency and performance.

Outside of work, Maddie finds joy in a variety of personal passions. She has a deep love for music, especially playing the piano and singing. Maddie also loves reading, and spending time with her friends and family.

Maggie joined Kennedy Investment Group in August 2018. She has over six years in the financial services industry, she also brings over sixteen years of in administration and hospitality experience to our team, which strongly resonates with the KIG culture. Maggie provides administrative assistance to the entire team while helping to keep the office running smoothly.

Maggie earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology with an emphasis on physiology from Rutgers University.

Maggie resides in Mickleton, NJ with her husband, daughter and two dogs. In addition to her career, she enjoys traveling, crafting, sports and spending time with family and friends.

With a strong background in client service, he is dedicated to building meaningful, long-term relationships and helping clients feel confident in their financial future. As KIG’s Chief Compliance Officer, Gene plays a critical role in ensuring the firm adheres to the highest regulatory and ethical standards, safeguarding both the integrity of our practice and the financial well-being of our clients.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Rutgers University, providing him with a solid foundation in financial principles and economic strategy. Gene also holds Life and Health Insurance licenses, enabling him to offer well-rounded financial solutions that support his clients’ evolving needs.

Outside of work, Gene enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children in South Jersey. Whether he’s creating special memories with his family, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying the little moments in life, he values the connections that bring happiness and fulfillment both personally and professionally.

James (Jim) Messner III

James Messner, CFA, FRM, is a Senior Portfolio Strategist at KIG. Jim has over fifteen years of industry experience to the firm, providing research and strategic oversight for our clients’ investment portfolios.

Jim earned his B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University and entered the industry at JP Morgan Chase in the Foreign Exchange Department. After JP Morgan, he spent 10 years at Glenmede Investment Management where he was a Research Analyst specializing in Derivatives and Risk Mitigating Strategies.

Jim holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, a rigorous self-directed program testing a candidate’s knowledge across a wide variety of topics in Investments and Portfolio Management. He also holds the Financial Risk Manager designation, a similar program focused on the risk management aspects of investing.

When not in the office, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley and their three children, James, Grace, and Evelyn.

Alexa Comey

Alexa joined Kennedy Investment Group in December 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience in financial planning from her time at Ameriprise Financial Services. With expertise in areas such as asset allocation and rebalancing, insurance planning and management, as well as personal and corporate retirement planning, estate planning, education planning, and income tax planning, she offers comprehensive, consultative services tailored to her clients’ needs.

A graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Finance, Alexa holds the Series 66 securities license, along with Insurance Agent, Accident, Life, and Health licenses.

Outside of her professional career, Alexa enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends. She resides in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia with her husband, Ryan, and their two cats, Loki and Lila.

He and his wife, Andrea, have been happily married for 13 years and cherish time with their three wonderful children, Mary, Beau, and Caroline. A native of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Keith attended the Pennsylvania State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He also matriculated with the College for Financial Planning and earned the designations of ACCREDITED ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST and CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLAN SPECIALIST.

Prior to joining Kennedy Investment Group in October of 2022, he was a Registered Principal and Financial Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. since May 2004. While at Raymond James he was consistently recognized at the Executive Council level. Prior to this, Keith was an Investment Representative and Limited Partner with a major investment firm for approximately 14 years.
