In a business the results are based on profitability.
In a profession the results are based on client outcomes.
Our Process
Initial Meeting
Getting to know you, along with your goals and dreams, is always our first priority. Our initial meeting is essential in gaining a reciprocating understanding of one another and aligning expectations in a stress-free environment. That is why KIG meetings are always free of charge and any obligation. During this introductory time together, you will have the opportunity to meet your future team and we'll get to know you personally, as well as understand your unique needs and aspirations.
We never discount the fact that we are responsible for managing our clients' life savings. It is a responsibility for which we hold ourselves highly accountable. Because of this, it is our policy to never give a recommendation during an initial meeting as we don’t know you well enough. Instead, it serves as an educational and discovery session that sets the tone for a long-term financial relationship.
Follow Up Meeting
Using our team-based and multi-disciplined financial planning approach, the KIG team will collectively build a clearly defined financial picture of where you are today and create a plan to help you align your investments towards achieving your financial goals. It’s important to us that our clients are completely confident and satisfied with their financial plan. Once this comfort is fully achieved, a long-term financial relationship can begin.
Ongoing Portfolio Reviews
Each plan will be held accountable to its goals and objectives through our portfolio monitoring process. This ongoing process includes regularly scheduled meetings with your financial advisor to review your accounts. We believe in “appointments with a purpose” and will meet with you frequently to review your plan, keep communication open and adjust your portfolio as needed. Our primary investment strategy is to buy and hold high-quality investments for long-term managed outcomes. As the market fluctuates, it may become necessary to adjust to changes by rebalancing the portfolio. In between portfolio reviews, we’re always available to address any questions you may have, particularly when a life-changing event occurs. We believe that successful marketing is never out of sight, out of mind.
Asset Protection Planning
Our asset protection evaluations ensure that you are prepared for life’s unforeseeable events, such as death, disability, long-term care needs, lawsuit liability, or incapacity. While they may be uncomfortable topics to discuss or plan for, anticipating them ensures preparedness and security when you need it most.
Rebalancing a non-retirement account could be a taxable event that may increase your tax liability. Investing involves risk, investors may incur a profit or loss regardless of the strategy or strategies employed.
